Join the Ark-Tex Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for a free Lunch-N-Learn in Paris featuring a Hands-On AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Training session designed to help adults and caregivers respond confidently in an emergency.

During this interactive presentation, healthcare professionals from Paris Regional Health will demonstrate how an AED works and guide participants through hands-on practice in a supportive, welcoming environment.

What You’ll Learn

Kyle Kinslow, RN, Program Manager – Chest Pain/Stroke, and Diane Grissom, MSN, RN, NE-BC, NPD-BC, Director of Education with Paris Regional Health, will lead this hands-on training focused on emergency response and cardiac safety.

During the session, you will learn:

  • What an AED is and how it works

  • When and how to use an AED during a cardiac emergency

  • Practical, real-world tips to help you respond quickly and confidently

  • How to safely practice using an AED in a supportive setting

Sudden cardiac arrest can happen anywhere. Whether you are preparing for yourself or for someone you care for, this training provides simple, easy-to-understand guidance that can help save a life.

You will also have time to ask questions, and the presenters will remain available for discussion.
