Nestled in a row of shops on East Main Street in Atlanta, Texas, vurlap coffee roaster bags line the top of the painted and exposed brick walls and Edison bulbs hang from the black industrial ceiling. The building is home to Caffé Crema, owned by Tanya and Greg’s Beers.
The business is a specialty coffee house with a comfortable and relaxing environment to rest or meet-up during the day while enjoying a premium quality coffee or tea , light meal, or grab-n-go healthy snack.
Tonya runs the day-to-day operations in the coffeehouse. She attended the Texas Coffee School in Dallas, Texas, where she learned how to run a superior quality beverage service. The program introduced her to the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). After completing a business plan with the SBDC, the Beers were able to utilize NETEED’s Revolving Loan Fund to support Caffé Crema’s renovations.
